The PRI-SAFETY Automatic Commercial Kitchen Hood Fire System (Fusible Link Type) is a fully automatic wet chemical fire suppression system engineered specifically for commercial kitchens, food service facilities, and industrial cooking environments. The system uses fusible link detectors strategically placed within the kitchen hood — when a fire occurs and ambient temperature reaches 185°C, the fusible links melt and trigger the automatic release mechanism, pressurizing the wet chemical agent tank and discharging suppressant through spray nozzles directly onto the fire source. Simultaneously, the system automatically cuts off gas or electrical supply to the cooking appliances — stopping the fuel source and preventing re-ignition. The low pH wet chemical agent rapidly knocks down flames, cools hot surfaces, and forms a tough vapor-sealing blanket over the grease surface that prevents reflash. Designed to protect cooking equipment including fryers, griddles, range tops, broilers, char-broilers, and woks, as well as ventilating equipment including hoods, ducts, plenums, and filters. The system operates completely independently of electricity — making it fully functional even during power outages. Constructed with high-quality stainless steel components for durability and corrosion resistance in high-temperature kitchen environments, and certified to ISO 9001:2015, CE, and EN standards.
