The XP95 Heat Detector monitors ambient air temperature using a single thermistor network, producing an output voltage proportional to temperature that is reported to the fire panel as an analogue value over the XP95 loop. It responds well to fast, high-heat-output fires and is typically installed in kitchens, plant rooms, and other areas unsuitable for smoke detection. Certified to EN54-5 by the LPCB, it is available in standard and high-temperature variants and mounts to the XP95 Mounting Base.
