The Series 65A Photoelectric Smoke Detector uses an infrared light source and photodiode to detect visible smoke particles via the light-scatter principle, giving reliable early warning against slow-burning, smouldering fires. Certified to EN54-7 by the LPCB, it operates across a wide 9-33V DC voltage range for compatibility with most conventional fire alarm panels. A magnetic test switch allows for alarm activation during commissioning without the need for smoke, and the detector mounts to the Series 65 Standard Base.
