The PRI-SAFETY CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System) is a mobile fire suppression unit that combines water, AFFF foam concentrate, and compressed air to produce compressed air foam — a fire suppression medium with significantly superior performance characteristics compared to traditional water or standard foam systems. By actively injecting compressed air into the foam solution during mixing, CAFS produces a fine, homogeneous bubble structure that adheres strongly to vertical and horizontal surfaces, penetrates deeper into burning material, absorbs heat more efficiently, and achieves fire knockdown with dramatically less water than conventional systems. The system is housed in a stainless steel tank with red-painted finish, mounted on a wheeled trolley for easy mobility, and powered entirely by the stored compressed gas — requiring no external electrical power or engine to operate. Capable of discharging foam solution up to 14 meters with a standard 25-meter automatic hose reel, it bridges the critical gap between portable fire extinguishers and full fire department vehicles — providing extended suppression capability of 2 to 10 minutes for fires too large for a standard extinguisher but where a fire truck has yet to arrive. Available in 10, 30, and 60-gallon configurations and fully customizable for specific applications. Ideal for gas stations, fuel depots, industrial facilities, warehouses, mining sites, agricultural operations, airports, and wildland fire scenarios. Certified to CE standards and compliant with NFPA 16.
